Kellogg Project

  LimiTV received a grant from the Kellogg Foundation to improve the learning and health of North Carolina elementary school students through reduced media use (less TV and video games).

LimiTV conducts two workshops to prepare a parent/trainer from your school to hold three sessions for parents at their school. Those three sessions motivate parents to reduce children's use of TV and video games. LimiTV provides the three presentations, suggested scripts for each, and a parent handbook - all at no charge. LimiTV provides a modest gift to the trainer and all parents who complete the three sessions.

The benefits of media reduction include:

* easier for the child to pay attention in school;
* improved grades;
* more physical activity;
* happier children.
