Get the family together and decide what
activities you want to replace watching TV with, playing video games or
surfing the net. Put it on the calendar!
Get your neighbors
involved by having a a TV-free night with board games or a
neighborhood treasure hunt
Look on the TV-Turnoff Network website
for more information and read their
message
board about how other families are reducing television in their
homes.

Tookie's Toys in Cameron Village
had a creative
event with “Fun without TV” Art Show." Every child who submitted a
piece received a Blue Ribbon. Families picked up their pieces at the end
of the Week and enjoyed a reception to celebrate their success.
